dreams
I have had strange dreams but I attributed it to the nicotine patch.I
quit smoking 3 years ago,but had a few over the summer.I didn’t
actually start smoking again but it was enough to bring the cravings
back .
With my situation the way it is right now ,I think it is safer to
stay on the patch rather than risk smoking again.
(do not attempt to roll the patches up and light ‘em .Dosen’t work )
Anyway , they do give me very strange dreams .

Do you think it’s possible the increased level of serotonin could
make the dreams more vivid? or maybe makes us remember them more
clearly when we wake up as well ?
Dag hugs,What a horrible dream that must have been .Like Nightmare on
serotonin street.

I think this is exactly it. The more serotonin you have in the
spaces between your brain neurons, the more connections you make –
the more images and thoughts asre formed up there. When you sleep,
it goes wild. Just a half-baked theory, but it seems consistent with
what they know about how SSRIs and serotonin work.
