question for herm

You mentioned one of the meds you are on is neurontin .Was that
prescribed as a mood stablizer ? I am on gabapentin which is just
another name for neurontin .I take it for nerve pain, but apparently
it is an anticonvulsant.I was just wondering what they prescribed it
for .

    –Neurontin can be used for mood swings. I am on it for that reason,
    and tegretol, as well. Karen

    Neurontin was, indeed, prescribed as a mood stabilizer for me.
