Alcohol in Moderation….. *wink*
Can anyone tell me how alcohol has affected them while being on
Lex? My tolerance was very low on C, and I’m wondering if this is
the same or will even lower my tolerance more. I do not drink a lot
when I am out - three drinks tops and they are “weak” ones because
that’s my threshold. It isn’t that I am interested in being able to
put more away while out with friends, but I just bought a new
wonderful car and of course, I worry about everything…like getting
home after two drinks. Or maybe I am just normal and
responsible 
What have your experiences been thus far?

I’m afraid to try, feeling too good. On C I had half a pitcher of
beer and I felt like I was gonna die. eeeek that sucked. bad bad

Well I think that depends on when you take your Lexapro. (AM or PM)
On Paxil I took that in the morning and I could drink at nite. On
Remeron I take before bed , but with 3 beers I had the mother of all
hangovers. What I do is if I drink (which isn’t often) I’ll skip my
Remeron, but take extra Klonopin in the morning. I have yet to try
drinking with Lexapro, but when it stabilizes and I can knock out my
remeron (Hopefully in two weeks) I will give it a try and let you
know. Take care…
