Hi, well, I feel good, a little too much energy, my afternoon naps
are not needed anymore. I still feel more anxious than I did on c.
I’m hoping that will go away, still. my shorterm memory is worse, my
eyesight is worse.
I am doing better than I was on 40 of c. I am on 20 of lex. But
I feel like my ocd is worse as well. But I felt that way on c on the
end before I switched as well.
I am actually making dinner again! That , I can’t even believe!

Karen,
Great to hear how well you are doing, sounds great. 20mg is a pretty
dose (but that is usually required for OCD), so maybe give the
anxiety another few weeks. Also, maybe consider that the increase in
anxiety may be due to either the stepped up energy level (sounds like
the medication is a bit stimulating in your case, and that can cause
increased anxiety, frequently only in the short-term), or that you
may be more concerned about the OCD and tha anxiety is relly
secondary to your concern, instead of a side effect.
Unfortunately, OCD is a bit more slow to respond most of the time, so
it will take another month or so to really judge the Lexapro for OCD,
but you might find that if the OCD improves, the general anxiety
level will come down with it.
Anyway, congratulations, you sound very pleased with your results so
far and with good reason.

-Thanks Chris. Yes, the increased ocd and anxiety seem to be very
related to the increase in energy. It seems that more I can do, the
more I ruminate about doing, LOL. Karen
