Hi .. Im new to the group and Lexapro and im hurting

Ive been on Lexapro for four days and my legs are cramping all day..
Ive never had that problem before and it is a bad thing…Is anyone
else getting muscle cramps…. Thanks

    Hi Mike ,I have not had any Muscle cramping,but drugs can sure affect
    people in all different ways.It seems especially true with SSRI’s.
    Were you on Celexa prior to starting Lexapro ? You didn’t mention
    what dosage you were on either.
    I really think you should contact your Doctor.We are not Doctors here
    and one person’s experience may be vastly different from anothers .
    Muscle cramping can be caused by other unrelated factors also
    , like low potassium or dehydration for example,and can be very
    serious. Please let us know what your Doc says.
