All about Lexapro

I too have vivid dreams ,also had them on Celexa. Mine are almost
like nightmares..I once had a dream of my daughter missing,just
overall strange dreams…….Somenights I wake up alot due to them.I
also can continue dreams….from one night to the next!!!
Thats something I never remember doing!
Anthony,In teresting about the Luvox and keeping you on
Lexapro.He must believe in Lexapro to keep u on…I can’t recall all
of your post ,but what did he say about your severe nausea? I hope
you start feeling better!

I need sleep,what a bad night to pick to drive home .Got caught in a
Blizzard without snow tires even on yet.(was still nice when I left)
It’s 7:30 am and just got home .Hope to catch up with the posts and
stuff when brain starts functioning in it’s usual, abnormal type,
state.

My legs are cramping like crazy… Anyone have any ideas

Well I met with my P-Doc today to see which road I am to travel with
my meds. I prepared my notes for how I’m doing on Lexapro, along
with notes for meds I thought for sure that I was going to be
prenested. I thought for sure my Doc was going to say “You are going
to stop the Lexapro and go back to the Paxil”. I mean he’s a huge
fan of Paxil and I can’t go any higher than 5Mg on Lex cuz of the
severe nausea. Well to my suprise, he threw a wrecnh into the
picture. I will be staying on Lexapro (5Mg), but I will be stopping
my Remeron (7.5Mg) and starting on Luvox (25Mg). I going on Luvox,
because I worry about the future too much, (It will help with my mild
obsessive thinking) and two it will help me sleep since I have
Insomnia issues from the Lex. I start the Luvox tonite.
Anyway I’m here to stay so I am going to be one of the permanent
regulars here for a while…

Dear Group,
What is the half life of Lexapro? If it is over 24 hrs, why are some
folks taking two doses perday? I have been finding myself taking it
anywhere betw. 18 hrs and 23 hrs from last dose.
Also, has anyone had a werid reaction with Lex and melatonin?

Hey guys I’m officially 12 hours exactly from finding out what
direction my P Doc is going to point me in. I know I’m its going to
be staying on Lex (5Mg) or switching it up to Paxil Cr (Which my P
Doc is a huge fan of) if its the latter it would be my third go
round on it (Paxil).
I decreased my Remeron from 15Mg to 7.5 so I felt more energy today,
but the nausea and mood swing were in effect. Only time will tell.
Even if he makes the switch I will be back to keep up on how everyone
is doing. All the regulars here (you know who you are) mean to much
to just let go.

How long have you been taking Lexapro? I, too, everyday feel extreme
fatigue in the afternoon after lunch. I’ve been on Lexapro 10mg for 5
1/2 mg. weeks. When did you notice at what week did this fatigue go
away? I’m ready for that! That’s great! I noticed today I was not all
with it. I had to take my son to the ER last night and only got 5 1/2
hours sleep. Otherwise, this drug has really helped calm my irritability
and anxiety.

Hey you all,
Just a short post to let you know how it’s going. I seem to have
lost the afternoon “snooze” feeling as of this past week. Nothing
like it was…..don’t even think much about a nap and not the
constant yawning that was going on. Maybe it has run its course.
Moods were up and down a bit more last week but I have seemed to
level again now. Fingers are crossed hoping it continues.

Today, after about 4 months on Celexa/Lexepro my doctor took me off.
I had some minor imporvment on the lexepro and thought I probally
should keep taking it. But the doctor has decided to put me on
Wellbutrin instead. Do you think it is ok to stop taking Lexepro
cold turkey. Has anyone had any experiance with wellbutrin. I guess
I will give the Wellbutrin a shot.

Interesting talk on Cold Meds…….. when I was on Celexa i took
Sudafed and Tylenol Sinus as needed..I did this before being on anti
de’s and my dr didn’t tell me otherwise to not take them. So i
continued taking those two for a cold.
Now being on Lexapro, I still take my Tylenol Sinus.I do suffer
from sinus problems…Have not noticed any difference in how Ifeel
when I take it.
I am going to talk to my pharmicist though and Dr when I go
back to see what they say……Thanks for Info…..
