An Extremely Cheap Easy Fix for a Stiff Back. (The Tennis Ball Post
Ok I see many posts here about people suffering with sore muscles.
Well a hot shower and a muscle massage work great, there is one thing
that also works awesome too which is a tennis ball.
Before I move on do not do this exercise with any other type of ball
except a tennis ball. A stress ball is too soft and a
raquetball/baseball is too hard.
Ok do this with no one else around (because they will think your nuts
just like you will when you do this the first time, but the reward is
worth it.) Anyway with a thin shirt on take a tennis ball put it on
the floor. (And yes it doesn’t matter if the floor is carpeted or
not). Now lay down on top of the ball with the ball pressed against
your back. Now slowly move forward and backward on the floor letting
the ball pressure get all the cracks and stiffness out of the muscles
and back spine. When you are done you may feel weird for doing such
and exercise but you will feel like you got a massage, and who cares
you feel much more loose…
If you are seeing a chriropractor alsreay make sure you tell him what
you are doing before you do this, since I’m not nowhere close to
being a doctor, but I’m 27 and I love doing this. Some days it feels
better and a hot shower…
So there you go just a little tool this mich get some stress out.
Now if only I could have an answer for myself for my meds/anxiety/and
depression I could finally move forward myself.
Take care all,
Anthony

I do this too, and it feels great! I actually use two tennis balls,
placing them on each side of my spine. I then slither up and down
and it gives a great massage on both sides of my back. It drives my
dog crazy though, because he thinks tennis balls are for him to play
with. He’ll try to dig the balls out from under me. I don’t let him
play with these, because he’d get them all slobbery.
