Shauna Please Don’t Go….

Sunday, November 30th, 2003

Hey Shauna first and foremost I’m sorry that the Lex didn’t work out
the way you wanted it to. What where the side effects that you
didn’t like that were better with Celexa? I know that I cannot ever
handle Celexa.
Anyway even though you are going back to the Celexa, please stay with
this group and tell us how you are doing no matter what AD you are
using. Your spirit would be extremely missed if you left
completely. Hopefully you will still stick around here even if you
go back to the Celexa, because this board would feel a great loss if
you left…

I have made a table under “database” on the left hand column .To add
yourself to the database:
1)Click on Database
2)Click “members brief History”
3)Click “add Record”
4) when finished click “save record”
Under general comments you can say wehther you feel lexapro is better
for anxiety or depression and any other comments you wish to make .
Database is for members only .It is not a scientific study. It is
simply for our own use, since we are the ones taking this drug .

Forgot ONE pill..what a disaster

Saturday, November 29th, 2003

First of all to Anthony…..glad to hear your Mom is doing well.
She sounds like a tough lady, something you should be proud of.
Now to the main reason for my post today. I forgot ONE Lex the
other morning and it took me til last night to feel like myself
again. 3 days of being like I used to be all on account of one slip
up. Unreal. I had no idea that the Lex was that touchy. However,
today was my last pill of Lex. Going back to the Celexa for a couple
of months again to see if it makes any difference. The Lex hasn’t
been cutting it here lately and I really don’t want to have to
increase the dose. The less meds I can take, the better. So we’ll
see what happens.

Family Update

Friday, November 28th, 2003

First and foremost thanks for all the prayers, my mom needed them.
OK she is finally home and stable. We are still awaiting all of her
test results, so everything is still up in the air. The main focus
is that she feels good, so for what that’s worth I’m happy. Her
doctor is also mine and I told him that anything significant I wanted
to know too. Because we have heart disease in our family, and she
would hide any negative news or surgeries. He told me he would do
whatever he could legally can, that’s all I can ask for…

family Disaster

Tuesday, November 25th, 2003

How are you anthony? How is your mom? My thoughts are with
you…….
Remember to try to take care of yourself also.
My mother who is 76,broke a vertebrea in her back. She has been in so
much pain ,I live 20 min from my mom and dad (who is 82) and try to
help out once a week. I truly feel the role reversal of being
caretaker. My father has had his share of health problems but doing
pretty well lately for 82!
I read Lesli’s post re her mom and noticed the problems she has had
too.
Take care Anthony!…You know you have supporters here!

Family Disaster Yesterday…

Monday, November 24th, 2003

Well I had hell the last 24 hours. Yesterday around 10:00 am I was
sitting at home in bed trying to ride out my meds side effects, when
the phone rang and BAM! My day immediately changed. My mom had a
heart attack went to her doctor’s office and then rushed to the
hospital. So I rush to the ER make sure that she’s there and then I
had to go pick up my dad and brother from two different train
stations. Of course I forgot my Klonopin, so the day became that
much harder. Well we are still awiting all her test results and she
needs to take more today but I’ll let you guys know whats going on
when I find out myself…
