Newby here!

Hi all,
Just joined. Have been on Lexapro for 2mths. now and I like it! I
have been on Effexor and Wellbutrin in the past but the side effects
were terrible! No side effects thus far from Lexapro. I have heard
that even PMS times will get better. But those days I do have the PMS
make me laugh cause I can remember that was the way I was ALL the
time. Wow! What a difference. Any words of wisdom out there for
taking Lexapro? Do you build up a resistance to it and need your
dosage changed? I am always wondering about this. I guess I have read
a lot at other groups about people always switching from one SSI to
another. I really want to just stay on one if I can.
Hope to get to know some of you! Thanks for you input and reading.

    Hi Laura,
    Welcome! I’ve been on Lexapro since the second week of October, and I like
    it too! It’s really helped my depression (after being on it about 6
    weeks). The thing I like about it is I took Celexa before Lexapro, and I
    didn’t think as clearly on it as I do with Lexapro. The bad side of
    thinking more clearly is I have more anxiety, and so far the PMS is still
    pretty bad. For me though, thinking clearly is important, so that’s
    helpful. I feel “out of the fog” and not depressed!
