Its the exact same thing..just the generic name. Dont get me wrong..it was great. I loved it. But I have a heart murmur and Im prone to skipped beats and it can be a little rough on the heart. I’m on Celexa right now. Was looking through the latest ‘PILL BOOK’
today and Zoloft was the most prescribed AD at the time of publication.
I was surprised!
Anyway, thinking about trying Celexa.

I finally shifted out of that 10 day or so depression. I am at 5 mg.
As I increased the mgs, I felt the same old side effects..mood
swings, headache, sweating, naseous..etc. then last night I felt a
lot better and today I finally had a full depression free day. I was
in a fight w/ my mind about how this wasn’t working and I couldn’t
bring into my consciousness what it felt like to be depression free.
My mind was saying if I was more self disciplined, had a better diet
and was a nicer person I wouldn’t feel like this. It is remarkable to
shift out of that, like finally breathing. Depression is such a self
hating disease.
What can anyone tell me about Elavil? Someone I care about was just

I live in Sussex wi near waukesha.If you know where that is.Sussex is
a small town.Its actually my mailing address, live in another town
ship too small for a post office!But right on border of Sussex.So i
shop in Sussex etc.
I like it here.I’m originally from Ill.Crystal lake. also lived in
Pa when I was younger for awhile.

the females…….Anyone skipping periods on Lexapro? Just
curious…..I have not got one yet this dec…….Due on the 8th.This
happened in oct too when i first started on lexapro. I did get one in
Nov.
I think its just early menopause…..I am 44 .I’mwondering if its
the meds though…..

I just got back from P-doc & she bumped me up from 20mg to 30mg of Lex. I’ve
been on Lex for 2 months for deppression, it’s starting to help, but hasn’t
quite gone away. Does anyone else have to take this much for it to work & how
long did it take for it to work?

Well last night started feeling pretty good and today was good too.
Guess it’s kicking in……thank God!!! Hugs to you that support

Not a lot new here in Arizona. Glad that Christmas is over. New
Years I know but I don’t partake in the boozing anymore…hangovers
just aren’t worth it. We’ll stay home. Also too many snowbirds out
here to be driving on that night!
