Were you on Celexa prior to Lex and what dosage of lex are you
taking ?

Actually, now that you mention it, there have been several times when
I thought food tasted different but never thought it could be related
to the lex.
Ya may be onto something there.
For the sleepy part, It never made me tired .I was on Celexa prior to
taking Lexapro and I don’t recall being tired with that either but it
is amazing how these drugs can affect people so differently .
Sometimes just switching when you take it can help and like bones
said he started taking his with food .
It is really trial and error I guess till you find what works best .
Usually the initial side effects do lessen with time.(I still have
the odd very weird vivid dream,and also the Jaw clenching thing )But
compared to the side effects ive heard about with other AD’s I
consider them pretty minor .
Good to have ya aboard Kathie. BTW i’ll go change that thing to no
attachments now and see how it goes .

I am on day six of lexapro. The sleepiness is overwhelming. I also have a very dry mouth in the morning and things taste sharper.

Does the sleepiness get better? I laid down for what I thought was thirty minutes today and couldn’t believe the clock said I’d slept for two hours.

For anyone that does not know .i’m being charged with “Barking Dog”
by my dog hating neighbor .I had 25 names from neighbors saying my
dogs are not a nuisence and only out to go to the bathroom
Kevin up the road already said he would testify on thursday for
me .I
went to Bob,who lives on the other side tonight and told him the
judge would not accept the 25 names and he said I could count on him
and his wife both being there to testify Thursday.
Doug offered to Testify even before I knew would need anyone to
actually go to court .He is still going to. Plus my mom is gonna come
over .She saw when Mae tapped on her windows then held up the tape
recorder.
Every single person I asked .. either to sign there name or testify
has said yes .
I can’t believe i’m crying just because it feels so good that people
care . Bob said ” Darlin your a good neighbor and this is just plain
wrong.Mae has gone too far this time ,you can count on us to be there
and back you up .”
I know Doug will have to take time off work but he said he will do
that.Same with Kevin .
I believe with all my heart that there is a force of good in this
world.We hear about all the bad, but there are good people willing to
lose pay to help someone .I’ll have to try to make it up to them even
if i lose .The lawyer was gonna supoena them and I said no I’ll just
ask them .
My physiotherapist thought it was remarkable when I had only one
person willing to testify , cause when she was having a custody fight
she could not get people to go to court .
Even animal control is testifying o my side and the 2 statements that
didn’t get lost with everything else is in my favor too .
Mae still has not produced ANY evidence to prove what she said on her
statement.
anyway just wanted to tell someone.

I know where to go to do it,I just want to make sure no one has any
objections to this …This group belongs to the members,so does
anyone mind if I change the setting to no attachments ?

There is a way to remove attachment, or rather to ‘not allow’
attachments.I never thought much about that before because I read all
the messages here in the group and nothing goes through my email.
I added the group to my favorites list, then sent a short cut to the
desk top.I just click the icon on the desk top to get here .
There is a way to change the group settings so that no email
attachments are allowed.I’m not really sure what it will do though
lol .
I just assumed that the posts that showed that “attachment” thing
were posts that included the origninal message and replys to it.
If those that get messages through email would prefer there be no
attachments we can do that.

I hope this is OK to ask. I was wondering if there might be a chance
the list could be set for “no attachments.” I just thought this
might eliminate any viruses that could be sent.
I know I am pretty new here, and have not posted much. If this is
something already discussed and decided on, I understand.

On my mom’s prozac bottle it says do not drink alcohol while on this
medication .
On mine it says …
“May cause drowsiness,Alcohol may intensify this effect,Use care when
operation a car or dangerous machinery”
They must mean intensify the drowsiness , since alcohol is a
depressant, you would think as Christy says, that it would lessen the
effect of the AD … like they cancel each other out ..Does anyone
else have warning labels on their prescription ? mine does not say
anything about taking it with food either.
