YeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaw…just got back from p-doc…moved up from 30mg of lex to 40mg
& added a side of 300mg of Wellbutrin SR as well…hoping I can go back to being
able to function on 3-4 hrs of sleep, butt w/o being a zombie…will keep you
posted…have a gr8 day everyone!!!!!!

I was wondering last week about headaches and lexapro and thank you
all for your input. I’m not able to get in to see my dr till
tomorrow and decided not to take my lex. It’s been two days and
today was going really well except this afternoon I get sudden
stabbing headaches, no other headache just sudden jabs. It’s
happened 3 times when I bend over and every now and then just going
about my daily things.
So my question…has anyone stopped taking Lex and encountered
headaches like this? I was only at 5mgs and I’m not really feeling
any withdrawel but from Paxil withdrawel experience I know that
those don’t really start till 3 days to a week after being off an
ssri.
More input would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Hi all, I’ve just been prescribed Lexapro. Been on Paxil/CR (36 mg)
for about a year. Paxil made it very difficult to orgasm so I am
hoping Lexapro will help in that area.
My question is: has anyone combined Paxil and Lexapro? Like 5mg and
10mg? They are two different ssris, so…?
I will of course ask my Dr. But, would like to hear anyone’s
experience.

i’ve been on lexapro for about 4 weeks and was wondering if i can
expect to experience anything more from the medication other then
what i have already. i’m taking it for ocd and i’ve been told that it
takes longer to get benefits from any medication then it does for
depression. anyone get more from lexapro after say, 2 months as
compared to 1 month at the same dosage? i’m at 20mg. any info is much
appreciated, thanks.

Hi Everyone
I went from 10 to 15 mg of Lexapro. I feel pretty good. Better that
the 10 mg I was taking. I take in the AM I do feel a little drowsy
by midday. Is there anyone who takes it in the PM that avoids this
problem?

I am doing fine on Lexapro. BUT dr. switched me and I had two
bottles of celexa left. 120 pills. (had gotten it filled before
prescrip expired)
I hate to pitch it as I pay for my meds myself and its expensive..
Do you all think I should take one a week instead of my lex to use
it up?

I’m Switching to Lexapro from paxil. Has any one made a fairly easy
switch?
Well, I took one lexapro and not only did I feel like I had dropped
acid, I couldn’t sleep for five days and had a migraine for the same
length of time. So I won’t be taking the medication again.
Anyway, I wish all of you the best of luck with it. I’m off to take
remeron.

Ive been taking 5 mg of Lexapro for almost a week. I feel it
working, but it seems like I have alot of anxiety yet. This morning
I hit kind of a low spot. Very anxious and racing thoughts. Im
taking it for depression and I may have mild depression. Should I up
the dosage to 10 mg? Anyone had any luck with this? Im thinking
about taking 5 mg in the morning and 5 mg in the evening.

I took a fall six years ago, live in chronic pain and was left
untreated, until recently. The problem is, I have been on and off
anti-depresants and have no sex drive…..since starting Paxil over a
year ago and haven’t had the least bit of interest since…my wife of
twelve years left me two years ago, couldn’t take it any
more….can’t say that I blame her….so that’s pretty much it…lost
it all wife, house, kids, sex drive…walking unich
just too damn much fun
