Newbe here.
Hi all, I’ve just been prescribed Lexapro. Been on Paxil/CR (36 mg)
for about a year. Paxil made it very difficult to orgasm so I am
hoping Lexapro will help in that area.
My question is: has anyone combined Paxil and Lexapro? Like 5mg and
10mg? They are two different ssris, so…?
I will of course ask my Dr. But, would like to hear anyone’s
experience.

I do not think you can take paxil and lexapro together. You cant take 2 ssri’s
at once. Also from what I have read here for the men, alot of men have problems
with delayed orgasms or not being able to orgasm at all. I have also read that
people have wellbutrin, another antidepressent but not ssri, added to the mix
and it seems to help with the sexual side effects.

Thanks folks. The mixing question was really more one of curiosity than
anything else. I am going to start Lexapro in a couple of weeks. I hope it
works for me. But, from what I read in this group Lexapro is a good bet.
