drug/alcohol use and lexapro

Hello all, new to the group too. I’m on week 3 of Lexapro,
prescribed for anxiety attacks. (I’m also diagnosed with borderline
personality disorder.) After some initial adjustment stage, things
seem to be going well… less moods swings and feelings of anxiety.
Here’s my question:
Is it okay to use drugs/alcohol while on Lexapro? Now I know
the ‘best practice’ is to avoid these thing completely… but
practically speaking, this is pretty hard to do. I don’t ‘abuse’…
maybe go out to a bar 2x a week, use “e” every other month or so.
I’ve always been a responsible user. I want to make sure that there
won’t be any major chemical conflict/reactions with the Lexapro….
don’t want to end up in an emergency room any time soon.
I know the ‘right’ answer is to stop completely… but
realistically….what’s the outlook?
Thanks

    What is E?
the reason some of us are here today. What was once a college party favor has
now turned into a debilitating mental problem. Makes your brain look like swiss

Awwwwww Murph…please don’t knock yourself about your sense of
humor. There are many out here who appreciate it.
I guess we can all practice tact when we post cause the written word
really is strong since we can’t see the person or hear the voice to
    actually feel it.
Again I have to say it…Laughter is the best medicine.
