Lex-Anxiety
Hey Stephanie, I have been on Lex for 4 months now. I just increase
my does from 10 to 15 mg. Lex has worked very well for me, the only
problem is it does not keep you in that happy mood all day. There is
a four hour timelife from the time you take it that you reach the
max. benefit. But since upping my dose it has helped. If your
anxiety gets really bad I suggest you try the new Xanax XR. Its
pretty good from what I hear. Hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks Kevin….I suspect I will be working up to at least 15mg if not to 20.
Because of my bypass from the weight loss surgery, I need more of a dose to
get the effect most people get at a lower dose.
I have never been in a happy mood all day! Not on any med. I was told to
take it at bedtime because it may make me tired/drowsy, so that is what I am
doing.
I have used Klonopin in the past when transitioning meds and when anxiety
flared up….most meds like that make me pretty sleepy. Does Xanax do that? I
assume the XR version is time release? I can’t take that because of the bypass
also.
