Anything good to say about Lexapro?

Hi, I may soon be starting lexapro and am looking for some positive
stories. Are there any? I have taken other SSRI’s in the past and
did not like the side effects. My doctor told me that so far,
lexapro seems to be a good one. I have gone through the message
boards here and at other sites and see more negative things posted
than positive. I have suffered with GAD and now perimenopause (yuck)
and I am hoping that lexapro might help me. My worst fear is weight
gain. Any input would be wonderful!
