Lexapro user for eight years

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

Hello. I was first diagnosed with depression eight years ago. I was
originally given Celexa but after three months, I was having side
effects and not getting relief from depression. I was put on 10mg of
Lexapro and I have had no side effects and my depression is in
remission. Medication works differently with all people. I am
currently going through early menopause and have found that my
depression is still within tolerable levels. I am concerned that
when the time comes to control the hormone levels, that the lexapro
may
not be as effective. I will wait and see. Right now, I swear by
lexapro.

In need of reassurance

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

Hello everyone,
I started taking Lexapro 9 days ago for GAD and Panic Disorder. I
started off on Paxil but was switched to Lexapro due to all the side
effects I was experiencing from the Paxil. I am just looking for some
reassurance that Lexapro will stop panic attacks. My panic attacks
have had a horrible affect on my life and I can’t function like a
normal person at all anymore. I have developed multiple phobias
because of this and have trouble even leaving the house by myself. I
feel like I am going crazy. HELP!

$40,000 dollars in your PayPal account
It’s just a matter of SHARING
$50.00 Dollars… That’s all it takes…
To get started just right mouse click and copy this whole page and
paste it in an e-mail to edit it. Simply follow the instructions
below and in 2 to 3 weeks, you will have at least $40,000 dollars in
your PayPal account. Most people respond to this program because of
the low investment ($50.00 dollars) and high profit potential. There
is no limit to the income you can generate from this (you can do it
over and over).
If you follow the instructions, you will reach thousands of people!
Honesty, Faith, and Integrity make this system work. I think
everyone has heard of “PayPal”. Anyone with an e-mail address can
join for F*R*E*E*! If you’re not already a PayPal user, the first
thing you need to do is sign up. Just click the link below! It’s
really easy to set up.
https://www.paypal.com
TEAM WORK MAKES THIS DREAM WORK! LET’S GET STARTED: Send a $25.00
dollar donation from your PayPal account to THE FIRST e-mail address
on the list along with a note saying “Please add me to your list”.
Now send the other $25.00 donation and an e-mail to the 5th person
on the list saying “Thanks I’ve joined”. Remove the 1st e-mail
address and place your address at the bottom. This moves the 2nd to
1st, 3rd to 2nd, 4th to 3rd, and the 5th place into 4th.
DO NOT TRY TO PLACE YOURSELF IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT WILL ONLY REACH
THE PEOPLE YOU SEND IT TO, AND THEN YOUR NAME WILL BE REMOVED FROM
THE LIST! If you do this the way it was designed it will reach
thousands by the time your name gets to the top. REMEMBER TO SEND a
$25.00 dollar donation to the 1st e-mail address and the
message “Please add me to your list, and send an email with the
words “THANKS I’VE JOINED” and the other $25.00 donation to the 5th
person. This lets the 5th person keeps track of progress of the
letter and continue to send out more emails.
Here is the list:
1. Nancymartinezfla@…
2. barryjsanders8@…
3. powerrayse@…
4. boyd@…
5. ivan_lafon@…
Now that you have paid the 1st person and 5th person & sent them
both emails & a note, place your e-mail address in the 5th place.
(Make sure it’s the same e-mail address that you used to open your
PayPal account). This is the way you will receive payment. OK, the
only thing left to do is to mail out at least 20 copies of this
letter. It is the job of the 5th person on the list to ensure there
are at least 20 “thank you I joined” replies. The fifth person is
the guardian of the system! If there are not at least 20 replies
then the fifth person will keep sending the letter until there is.
MAKE SURE YOU SEND $25.00 DOLLARS TO THE FIRST PERSON TO THANK THEM
FOR WHEN THEY WERE THE GUARDIAN OF THE LETTER and $25 DOLLARS TO THE
FIFTH PERSON SO MORE EMAILS CONTINUE TO GO OUT! As you will also
receive gratis - thanks AND THE SAME BLESSING. When your name is on
the 1st slot, 8,000 to 15,000 people will send you 25 dollars!
Keep in mind… the most you spent is $50 DOLLARS! (Remember… what
goes around comes around)
TESTIMONIALS:
Mary Gatters, Columbus, SC: I only ha ve one thing to say to you…
Thank Heaven! I sent out 142 copies total before 20 replied, like
the instructions said. Then I went on a short vacation. When I got
back my account had over $32,000 dollars in it already and the money
was still coming! I’m still floating on air (especially with my new
car). I thought the ‘guardian’ system sounded cheesy, but now I
realize it is the formula that makes this letter really work!
THANKS!
Step 1. Set up your PayPal account, if you don’t already have one,
and send the top name (1st person) $25.00 dollars. DON’T FORGET to
include “Please add me to your list”.
Step 2. Send the other $25.00 dollars and an e-mail stating “Thank
you I’ve Joined” to the 5th name on the list.
Step 3. Remove the top name, bump the other 4 names up 1 place each.
Place your name in the bottom slot - you will receive a minimum of
$1000.00 or more from your efforts.
Step 4. Keep sending the letter until you get 20, “Thank you I’ve
joined” replies in your inbox.
Please give it an honest effort, you will not be disappointed and
will be very glad you did when it starts to work. Remember, all
you’re going to be out of pocket is about the cost of a restaurant
dinner bill, with the opportunity of banking thousands of dollars
into your PayPal account!

To your Success!

Hello All

Friday, April 28th, 2006

Hi,
I’m new to the group. 27 year old female, newly married. I just started
taking Lexapro two weeks ago for SAD, GAD and Depression - mainly SAD. I’ve
never taken any kind of medication before for mental health and I’m nervous
and hopeful. I’ve always been anxious and depressed and really started
suffering from social anxiety about 5 years ago, although it’s always been
there - afraid of talking to authority figures especially. I hate going out
socially. It seems before I was able to control it and ’suck it up’, but for
the past few years it’s become a real problem. I also have persistent
anxious fears and morbid thoughts about everything in general - the what ifs
of anything going wrong are constantly running through my head. On the
depression side, it’s not debilitating. I get out of bed; go to work, get
basic things done but it feels like I’m going through the motions. Most of
the time I wonder how any of this is worth it when the days drag on. I’m
always thinking death would be a welcome relief, although I do not think I
would ever end my own life. I do have things I look forward to my husband
and kitties provide joy for me, but I want to be happy with myself. I also
enjoy doing at home exercises like The Firm and Tae Bo its when my mind
quiets for a while. It’s too soon to see if Lexapro is helping yet. The only
thing I’ve noticed is a loss of appetite, but it’s coming back (darn). I’m
somewhat concerned about the weight gain as I’ve spent the last year working
very hard to lose 50 pounds. For those of you that exercise and eat
relatively healthy, did you gain even though you work hard to stay slim? Or
have people gained because they are eating more (increase of appetite or are
now able to eat because they are more relaxed, happy etc.)? I also got a
script for Xanax which is a miracle worker so far for the SAD and GAD, but I
know doctors are reluctant to have you take it on a daily basis. I’m hoping
on my next visit, Dr. will give me another benzo that lasts longer. Thanks
for listening.

Hi, I’m new - returning

Friday, April 28th, 2006

Hi everyone,
I used to be on this list, then for whatever reason I switched email addresses
due to spam and wanted fewer emails (I was getting over 100!) I read some of
the old emails the other day from 2004 and realized I missed this list. I’m
taking Lexapro at 10 mg per day. I started at 20 and went down to 10. Would
honestly like to stop taking it, but have tried and I know it helps me, so I
need to keep taking it. It keeps me on an even keel. Glad to be back!

Info on bleeding–Alison & Robert

Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

Hi Alison & Robert,
Here is what it says on the Lexapro website about the possibility
of bleeding. I know it says the risk is when Lexapro is taken in
combination with these other things, but it still frightens me just
the same.
“As with other psychotropic drugs that interfere with serotonin
reuptake, patients should be cautioned regarding the risk of bleeding
associated with the concomitant use of LEXAPRO with NSAIDs, aspirin,
or other drugs that affect coagulation.”
