All about Lexapro

Hi Everyone -
Well, I just got back from my vacation to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally,
which, was great by the way….and it only took 3 days at home for
the anxiety levels to kick in full force. Last night I woke up in a
panic wondering where my sapphire ring was…even though before I
left I took it off and put it in my jewelry box. I had to get up and
put it on before I could relax enough to go back to sleep. Also, I
took 3 Ibuprofen, which seems to relax me enough to get to sleep.
I only tried my Lexapro for 3 days, because I was having some side
effects, and did not want to go on vacation, on a motorcycle,
experiencing side effects. I was hoping when I got home, the
vacation would have helped my anxiety, and I could cope without
medication. Ha.
I am so afraid of taking Lexapro, because of bad experiences with
Paxil. Sex was difficult, I gained weight…but, my worries and
anxiety definately were knocked down. But, my doctor assures me that
the side effects of Lexapro are practically non-existent. I know
some of you have gained weight on it, and this really scares
me…but, on the other hand…do I want to live in constant worry and
anxiety?
So, I am thinking of giving it another try, and see if I can get past
the side effects. I don’t like living like this. I worry about
everything.
I also had no back pain while I was gone, and as soon as I got home,
the backaches returned. I truly think my back problems are stress
related.
