Pill-Splitter

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Has anyone else found it hard to split the 10 mg. tablet up? I have attempted
this the past 2 days but I’ve given up and taken the whole tablet.
I had thought maybe I’d divide it up or something. I’m thinking of switching to
night time because it’s a little sedating. Just a bit.

Hi there! I need some help with some questions. I started on Lexapro 10 mg.
last Friday, 8 days ago, today is day 9 for me. Yesterday I felt awful, and
my heart was beating fast, so I though, but it wasn’t. Last night I didn’t
want to eat from 12 noon on……I didn’t want to talk, I felt
anxious………it was the most terrible feeling I ever had. Does anyone have
any suggestions
to why this happened to me? I finally took a half of a .5 colonazepham which
helped me to go to sleep. I slept from about 11- 8:30 this morning. I hope I
don’t go through that again. Was that a panic attack without the sweating?
Any info would help me! Thanks, Susan

Hey all
The past week has been amazing. I can’t believe I’ve had results so
soon. Was it the same for all of you??
I’m on an even keel emotionally and have no anxiety. I’ve felt a
little flat at times but I’m holding out for the 4 - 6 weeks they say
it takes for the full effect. A woke a couple of mornings this week
with a feeling like the med had worn off overnight or something LOL
and had the intrusive thoughts coming back, but the tablet worked
quite quickly to stop all that.
The only annoying side effects I have had so far was a bit of
indigestion and thirst the first couple of days, and some yawning. The
other side effects I’ve experienced don’t worry me so much and I think
that’s what it’s all about, eh?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to discussing and sharing experiences.

question from a newbie

Monday, June 26th, 2006

Can I ask what kind of side effects everyone has experienced with Lexapro?
I have been on it a week and I have had a little sleepiness so I take the
med before bed. I don’t have much of an appetite until the afternoon, some
nausea, diarrhea one day and yawning even if I am not tired. Thanks in
advance for your replies.

new here and have a feq q’s

Hello everyone. I am new to the group and was hoping I could ask a few
questions. Previously about 2 yars ago, I was on Celexa for mild depression
and Klonopin for anxiety and panic attacks This combo worked great and with
therapy, etc, I have been off of both for about 2 years. However, I have
recently moved to another country and have found myself slowly slipping back
into both depression and severe anxiety, its effecting me even leaving the
house and causing severe insomnia and nighttime anxiety. I started reading
about Lexapro today since its supposedly a combo for depression/anxiety and
am wondering about experiences and if any of you were on Celexa first.
Healthcare here isnt too great, so I want to be prepared to speak to the
doctor about what I want to be put on and whether or not I want to get back
on Celexa (which worked wonderful) or try Lexapro to see if it helps with my
anxiety as well.
Any input would be great.
Thanks!
