Nightmares?
Hi, I am new to the group and I have been on Lexapro for a couple weeks
now. I am taking 10mg and so far am doing okay with it except for a
little nervousness & anxiety. But for the last few nights I have had a
few disturbing nightmares that are too gory to talk about. Has anyone
else experienced nightmares like these while taking Lexapro?
Thanks,
Emily

these while taking Lexapro?
Actually one of the reasons I’m sticking with Lexapro
despite feeling some of the original effect has worn
off during the day is that it is letting me sleep the
way I used to before the auto accident. Afterwards I
not only had problems getting to sleep, but the
nightmares would wake me up. I’ve noticed my dreams
lately have been fairly vivid, but as they’re also
benign though weird (as dreams may be), that’s okay.

Hi Brooke,
I’ve had & still having nightmares. I’m always in an impossible to fix
situation. I
seem harder to wake up. If I wake for a few seconds, I go back to the same
miserable dream. Sound familiar. I still like what Lexapro does for my
waking hours. Less stress & anxiety.
