Cheerleader of the day~
I have been on Lexapro for a month and a half! I have to say I DO feel
better. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can look back to where I
started from and see how much better I am doing. I didn’t notice until
here recently; so I can vouch for those who say it takes 6 weeks for
you to notice improvements. I still have LOTS to work on with my
depression and such. But I am still continuing to see a counselor
weekly. She asked recently on my 6th visit to date if I have noticed a
difference. I said not really as far as the counseling. I have to give
credit to the meds. She helps as far as discussing my stressors and
problems in life. She helps me to see the light in a different way and
explain why some people are… the way they are–
I go tot my regular doc here really soon to get a refil for Lexapro. I
hope she continues me on it .. I wonder how long the average person
stays on Lexapro? Even If I get to the place I want to get as far as
decreased depression etc… I still want to see the counselor on
monthly basis if my Insurance will continue to help pay on the visits.
But just wanted to chime off subject and bring you guys up to date on
me. I read every thread and subject here and have learned so many new
things. I hope everyone is doing well.
