Okay I think something is seriously wrong with me. First I got tired
from doing cocaine.. and now whenever I drink caffiene or take diet
pills that are supposed to give you enormous amounts of energy.. I get
even more exhausted. This is a GREAT problem because I’m on 15mg of
Lexapro and it makes me EXHAUSTED.. all I do is sleep. I was just
wondering if anyone else experianced this before? I don’t understand
what it could be.
I have 29 year old daughter that has been dabbling with a doctor
that I don’t believe to be looking out for her best interests. Pays
a nominal fee and gets a little brown baggie. She swears she
doesn’t need a therapist, just this concoction or she claims she
will be mean and nasty. At present she is taking 3 different
medications on a daily basis: Lexapro 10mg
Effexor 75mg twice a day
Lithium 300mg
I am no doctor, but without going into detail, things are not what
they should be. she had a recent epidsode where she supposedly had
not taken any of these meds for awhile and ended up on a 2 day mad
streak by throwing out every item that her mother & fahter-in-law
gave her. they live next door to each other. I am deeply concerned
for her and especially my grandson who is now 5. These people have
their own sorted issues also.
Please someone out there let me know if these 3 meds are okay to
have in this particular combination.

Will lexapro help me get off generic Ativan (Lorazapam)? I am trying
to taper off. I am currently on Lexapro 10mg a day and 1mg of
Lorazapam. I want to taper off without bad side effects. Has anyone
else gotten off Benzos easily after taking Lexapro?
So currently I’m trying out Lexapro from samples that my doctor gave
me… I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with it or try something
else, I see my dr. this week for a follow-up. I was just wondering
though, what does the cost of Lexapro run? With my insurance plan I
have to pay the full cost of my prescriptions until my deductible is
met for the year, which it probably won’t be for a while… and I just
realized I have no idea how much it would cost if I stay on this after
the sample doses.
(Just to pre-empt any concerned replies, I’m NOT saying I would just
go off it because it’s not affordable… I want to find the best drug
for me even if it is a bit costly… just wanted to know around how
much it costs, for my own info)
in generic. The Dr. says I can go as high as 80 mg. on that but he’s cutting
out everything else but Ambien.

Hey, I started taking LEX about 2 weeks ago and I already feel better,
but I had the EXHAUSTION.. like total exhaustion too, so I just went
to my doctor on monday and he put me on Wellbutrin with the Lex.. cus
he said its supposed to help with not being so tired all the time.
Does taking the Wellbutrin in the morning help with staying awake?
I haven’t read anything on it, so I’ll just ask you guys.. does DHEA
make you lose weight?
This isn’t something that’s in the flier that comes in the packet, or
something my doctor said, but I saw on a professional medical site
(through work, I’m not mentioning the name, because it’s not for the
public) that it’s recommended to use sunscreen while taking lexapro.
Perhaps this ties in with the vein thing somehow?

Hello,
I don’t know if the two are related but I thought I would ask. I am 33
years old, starting taking 10mg of Lexapro about a year ago and I’ve
noticed all of sudden, I can see the blue veins in my arms and legs
and I’ve even gotten a few vericose veins on my legs over the past few
months.
I like Lexapro for the most part, haven’t had any weight gain and few
side effects but I wish I had my sex drive back. I’ve thought about
weaning myself off of it but I’m afraid the anxiety will return): Is
there anything else out there that I could try? Thanks!
