Youth is a State of Mind !!!
Audrey….my brother turned 51 in June.
(You are also 51, I believe.)
(I turned 49 a month and a half ago.)
Now ….I feel like my brother ,at 51, acts like he is SIXTY FIVE !!!
I, on the other hand feel like life may be JUST BEGINNING FOR ME,
because of a little breakthrough that happened in my (aspiring)
songwriter career !!!
Also….if I wasn’t stuck down here in Texas (no offense Sophia !!!),
living on a meager Disability check………..I’d be back in Chicago ,
putting a band together !!!
I get the sense that you, Audrey, are more like ME than my brother,
and that you are “young at heart”………..!!!
And what’s that new cliche’?
With people living longer healthier lives due to medical advances, etc.
“60 is the “new 40″ !!!
(Or is that “40 is the new 20″ ???)
Well !…………you get what I’m saying !
YOUTH IS A STATE OF MIND !!!………………..tony.

I tell ya Tony, I don’t even look my age. I’ve always
looked 10-20 years younger than I really am. My mom
was the same way. When my brother was in high school
and his friends saw my mom they thought she was his
girlfriend. I don’t act my age a lot of time. I like
to punn and joke around. People seem to expect that of
me now. Sometimes when I have to be serious it’s very
hard not to crack a joke here and there. I tell ya, if
it weren’t for God and Lexapro I don’t know where I
would be right now but I don’t think I’d be as happy
as I can be when I am. Some days I love being around
people and other days it’s like GET ME OUT OF
HERE-QUICK!, you know? My psch. recorded in a report
for me for disability that I have a personality
disorder. I can handle being around people only for a
short period of time and then I have to get away from
them. I guess if I weren’t on Lex. I might not be able
to handle them at all. who knows.
