Has anyone changed from Lexapro to Cymbalta?

Hi everyone, I have been on Lexapro 20mg. for a long time, but I’m
dealing with alot of stress and pain, so I’m having some bad depression
days. My Dr. suggested Cymbalta, but I was hesitant.
I’ve heard alot of negatives about Cymbalta, so I’m a bit scared.
I don’t seem to have any side effects from lexapro, so I’m thinking I
should try 30mg. of Lexapro before trying the Cymbalta.
The literature on the Lexapro states 20mg. is the highest dose, but
from I’ve read here, some people feel better on a higher dose of Lexapro
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated,
Suzi

I have a friend who is taking Cymbalta. Her main complaint was that she was
soooooo tired when first taking it. I’m only on 10 mgs of the Lexapro right
now so don’t know much about the higher doses.
    Good luck!
