So….when does it come back?
When exactly does the libido come back, if ever? Also, why the cruel
joke of drowsiness in the day and when you finally get to bed, you are
wide awake? I would love veteran Lexapro users thoughts…

you gotta love that your dragging your butt all day long and cant wait
to get to bed andwhen you do all you can do is toss and turn. i found
that taking the lexapro 1 hour before bed helped me sleep and was
still working during the day so i wasnt so tired. as for the libido,
i started taking dhea. i cut a 25mg pill in half and take it during
the day. it helps a little but talk to your doctor and see if theres
anything he can prescribe to help. just what you wanted another pill.

What’s dhea? Sorry for my ignorance. LOL
I haven’t lost my “drive” yet but never really had much of one to begin
with. Paxil took it clean away and so did Celexa.
I don’t feel like my Lexapro is even working yet and it’s been almost a
month since I started it. I don’t remember it taking this long with Celexa
or Paxil…. :o( My anger and mood swings are going to get the better of
me.

ITS A SUPPLEMENT THAT YOU CAN GET AT ANY PHARMACY OR SOME GROCERY
STORES. ITS A PRECURSOR TO SEX HORMONES LIKE TESTOSTORONE AND
ESTROGEN. SOME PEOPLE TAKE 50MG BUT I TAKE 1/2 OF 25MG BECAUSE THERE
ARE SOME SIDE AFFECTS AS TO BE AWARE OF IF YOU TAKE TOO MUCH.

I see…..thanks for the info! If my “drive” starts waning I’ll have to look
into this. My husband hates when I’m on SSRI’s for this reason…..
