effexor vs lexapro
i was taking lexapro for six months and complained to my doc about
sleepiness all the time. he switched me to effexor….any comments or
experience between the two? gracias….

I’m currently weaning off effexor and onto Lexapro because the effexor
made me feel over stimulated and gave me sweats. Another big drawback of
effexor for me is the nasty withdrawal symptoms. It is known to be the
worst for that. Having said all that, each person reacts differently to
each drug, so maybe the one that over stimulates me will just be non
drowsy for you. Also, I know the drowsy effect can go away with time for
most people. Did you give it a long enough try? I wish you luck.
