Early side affects

I have only been on Lexapro for 4 days. I was perscribed 10 mg Lexapro
and Adavin 0.5 mg twice a day. I felt so foggy headed that I stopped
the adavan ( however that is spelled, I am not sure) and just kept the
Lexapro. Still feeling pretty slow, lol. Is this a normal feeling? I
am so foggy I really dont want to do anything, for instance just
typing this post took effort, lol. I am still feeling the symptoms of
anxiety right now :(

10 mg for Lexapro is a low dosage maybe that’s why you are still feeling
anxiety. Lexapro tends to make one feel lazy and tired, at least that’s how it
was with me during the first 2 months.
Ask your MD to up the Lex to 15 mg, that should help. BTW, I started with
10 mg for 2 weeks, then 15 for the next 2 weeks and finally up to my current
dosage, 20 mg. and I feel great.
    Regards,
    Liz

I have been on 10mg Lexapro for 8 days now. I am so sleepy I don’t want
to do anything. I can barely stay awake for 4 hours at a time. I have
been taking the Lexapro in the morning. Would changing the time I take
it help? I took Effexor for years and never felt like this but it
    stopped working.

Lexapro can be taken at either bedtime or in the morning, but it has to be
consistant; once every 24 hours.I found that Lex tended to make me sit and stare
all day when taken in the AM. So, I take it at bedtime with my other meds and
    I’m sleeping better. Sue C— On Thu 02/15, Pat < PatsyAnnK@… >

    Patsy Ann,
If you took Lexapro at night, it would help considerably.
